Delicate does not mean unplanned.

Fine line tattoos carry less visual weight than bold traditional work, but the design still needs room to age clearly. Line spacing, placement and the amount of detail are decided together.

We look at how the design follows the body — the curve of a forearm, the line of a collarbone or spine — so the piece feels part of you rather than placed on top.

Where a design has a lot of detail, we may recommend a slightly larger size or a mix of fine and stronger lines so key shapes stay defined over time.

Botanical & floral

Stems and petals are arranged to follow the muscle and bone lines of the placement.

Lettering

We check letter height and spacing so script stays legible after healing.

Add-ons later

Fine line pieces can be extended into larger compositions over time.

Questions about Fine line

Fine line

Yes. Send the exact text and any font references. We check character size so strokes do not merge as the skin heals.

Not usually. Pain depends more on placement and session length than on line weight. Ribs, spine and ankles tend to be more sensitive.
